NULIFE'S 6-Step Residential Solar Installation Proces
Our comprehensive 6-Step residential solar installation process ensures a seamless, efficient experience from start to finish. Here’s how we deliver top-tier solar solutions for your home:- Step 1 - Consultation and Site Assessment
We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your energy needs, budget, and goals. Our team will then conduct a site assessment, reviewing your roof condition, sunlight exposure, and energy consumption to design a system that maximizes efficiency. - Step 2 - Custom Solar System Design
Based on the site assessment, we create a custom solar system tailored to your home. Our design team considers your energy needs, roof space, and aesthetic preferences, while maximizing energy production. We also ensure all designs meet local building codes and regulations. - Step 3 - Proposal and Permitting
Once the design is ready, we provide a clear and detailed proposal that outlines the costs, savings, equipment, and timeline. After approval, we handle the permitting process, coordinating with local authorities to ensure compliance with all regulations. - Step 4 - Equipment Procurement and Scheduling
We source high-quality solar panels, inverters, and any necessary components from trusted manufacturers. Our team will work with you to schedule the installation at a convenient time, ensuring minimal disruption to your daily routine. - Step 5 - Installation
Our certified installers will complete the installation efficiently and safely. The system is securely mounted, and all wiring and components are carefully installed to ensure optimal performance. Our electricians will connect the system to your home’s electrical grid, adhering to all safety standards. - Step 6 - System Testing and Activation
After installation, we thoroughly test the system to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Once the local utility company approves the connection, your system is activated, and you can start enjoying clean, renewable energy. We also provide a full walk-through of the system’s operation and offer ongoing support for any future needs.

Full/Partial System Decommissioning
The system is deconstructed, removed, and the roof/land is made ready for redevelopment or returned to its original state, when the solar PV system has reached the end of its useful life. Sometimes the system needs to be decommissioned due to system failure, sometimes due to the expiration of a site lease, and sometimes the end customer just wants the latest and greatest of the technology. In some of the states, it is also now a requirement to include the estimated cost and a plan for decommissioning as part of the initial project application. With that in mind, it is important that project owners put their sustainability hat on and plan what happens at the end of the systems life.
Removal and Reinstallation
Building rooftops have an approximate 25-year warranty. Before a roof can be repaired or replaced, a solar panel system needs to be removed. We specialize in properly inspection documentation, storage and reinstallation of these multimillion dollar assets. Giving our customers the ease of mind that their investments will be properly handled during this construction activity for many more years to come.
Solar Repowering
Solar repowering is a process that involves replacing old (PV) modules, trackers, inverters, transformers, and other technology with new ones. Sometimes it can include the addition of batteries. Every system is different and must be looked at individually unless the makeup is similar to a portfolio of sites.
